This shift pattern has been going on since around November last year.
It changed this week.
I applied for a shift change at work and it seems it was approved without any problems.
My pattern is 5 days in a row of work with 2 days off in a row.
Well, I had quite long weekends off so... I thought it'd be nice to have consecutive days off every week.
Well, in the old days, when I finished work on Friday I was free until Monday morning!
Like that (lol).
I'd drink endlessly from Friday night and before I knew it, it was Saturday morning.
I'd go home around noon, sleep, and drink again in the evening... like that (lol).
I really used to have money and energy in the old days.
And nowadays.
Even though it's a consecutive day off... I'd have an early drink on the first day.
And then, tomorrow was also a day off.
"I want to go to the slots!" (lol).
It'd be nice if I could win.
But I wasn't winning, you know.
So I thought.
I can't survive without working five days a week.
But working five days in a row has been getting tough lately.
"In that case, I'll just work three days, take one day off, work two days and take another day off."
Anyway, working five days in a row is tough.
After the fifth day in a row, I feel a strange sense of accomplishment, but... I'm so tired I can't sleep (lol).
"Why can't I sleep even though I'm so tired?"
I guess it's a sleep disorder.
I don't know (lol).
In the end, when people are too tired, they lose the power to sleep.
I can't even sleep (lol).
I think it's the same thing.
So humans need power to sleep too.
Sudden shift changes.
People who were taking time off can't take time off.
Conversely, people who wanted to come to work can't come.
My industry operates 365 days a year.
It's going to be a nuisance or affect someone.
As I said before... I don't need a long holiday right now.
Somehow... if I had a long holiday.
To begin with, my slot machine addiction has pretty much subsided.
Again, as I said before.
"Tomorrow is a holiday too... I'm bored and have nothing to do, so I'll go play the slots"
Like that (lol).
Anyway, it's a bad pattern that I have within myself.
I think I need to eliminate that.
There's no point in making the pachinko parlors more profitable than this.
Like that.
